My Shepherd

Boy, I’m really feelin’ sorry for
myself today, Lord.
Boo hoo.
But You’re tender
and You care.
You are my Shepherd
who loves me.
Who understands.
I don’t want to stay in this place.
I want to be a good soldier
and be tougher than that
for You.
But for now,
this moment,
You meet me in
my need
and hear me in my
complaint
and Comfort me.
You are strong and sturdy.
I admire You.
I am my Beloved’s and He is mine.
Blessed Jesus.
